Yum.

I'm not a huge jewellery fan, but I do love crazy earrings! I've got the sensible, nice metal studs and things but I do love it when I find some more individual pieces. I've had a little search and found two great sites, Kirsty's Boutique and Trashy Doll and not only do they do amazing jewellery but they also do ones with food on! Love it! Here's a few of my faves:
£3.50, Trashy Doll

(Magic Stars) £3.00, Kirsty's Boutique

£3.50, Trashy Doll
£4.00, Kirsty's Boutique
£4.00, Kirsty's Boutique

£4, Trashy Doll
£4, Trashy Doll
I just wanna eat them! And for everything under a fiver it's pretty darn good in my book, problem is, I'd quite like them all! Which are your favourites?

I am poooor

My bank account has suffered a blow recently in that I've just had to pay out the whole whack for my holiday. And now, I am pooooor! So poor. And to top it off, I'll get hardly anything this pay day. Boooo. Shall we add to that level of stress? Of course! My exams start in three weeks, we haven't finished the course in 2 out of 3 subjects, just had to re do my coursework in 2 days, and I've got two mocks next week. Luffin lyff.
Despite all that, I still want to buy stuff! Online shopping has taken over in that I don't have any spare time to go traipsing round the shops and I found this beauty earlier from Dolly Bow Bow

Please buy it for me while I cry over my A levels?

Hope you all haven't been as depressed as me lately!

Supermarket sweep

I've always liked the supermarket clothing lines, they were particularly good when I was younger and wanted more basic pieces but as I've got older I've always felt that there was a bit of room for improvement with their items which all seemed too basic or too work wear. I've always wondered why they don't do a small but select range for more 'fashion' pieces and so for those reasons I kind of stopped looking. But after seeing this little lot my faith has been marginally restored, the website appears to have a fair amount of pieces that are very wearable and just edging towards the more mainstream shops, so I've picked my favourites of the lot:

!!Fave Item!! Jumper, £14

Watch, £15- very Michael Kors-esque!
Shirt, £14

Wedge, £18
Jumper, £14
Blazer, £28
Waistcoat, £12
It still wouldn't be my first point of call but it's deff somewhere to bare in mind when you're counting the pennies- a jumper and a shirt for under £30 in the likes of Topshop would be unheard of! What's your favourite piece?

Crochet/lace shorts

Been seeing a lot of crochet/lace shorts on ye olde tumblr and I actually really like them! There's a few going on random sites but Zara have a pair that comes in white, ecru (light, light tan almost), peach and black but I think the black and white pairs are the nicest.
£26, Zara

They don't really look anything special in the site pictures so here's a few general pictures that should get you a little more excited:

You likey? They're the kind of thing that definitely needs to be toughened up, loose vests, denim and studs would all work well and if the weather would like to get its act together, a tan would also go down quite nicely! Not sure I'd shell out for the Zara ones but I could see myself buying a cheaper pair from Newlook or Primark if they get round to doing these.
On another note, I've suddenly had a load more hits on here so if you are visiting for the first time then remember to follow/comment, I always love seeing new blogs! :)

Hairspiration

Just spotted these pics on the Daily Mail website and I just love her hair! And now I'm majorly tempted to dye mine that colour, I'm naturally a brown/caramel/gingery colour that's pretty much back to its natural ways so I'm trying to persuade myself to do it, semi-permanent style.

Can I steal the jumper as well??
I really don't understand the problem people seem to have with 'ginger' hair nowadays, though I would say this is more at the auburn end if the scale, I just hate that people can be so judgemental on a hair colour! It's unacceptable to say things about a person's skin colour so why is it fine for hair colour? Banter with friends is one thing but I've heard such hurtful things by adults and teachers and its just horrible so if you have naturally strawberry blonde, ginger or auburn hair then please don't dye it just because people are idiots!

A bit vintagey, a bit seasidey

I've had a little tweak around with the layout and everything so let me know what you think! I still need a header but I'm pretty clueless about that kinda stuff, if anyone wants to help me out that'd be fab!
The parents have agreed that after my exams I can finally get my room done so I've been collecting ideas so that as soon as the time comes, I can  get it done asap. I'm thinking a bit vintagey and a bit seasidey:

As you can see, bunting is a must, going to have a little amazon/ebay scavenge to see what I can find.Only problem is I'm the messiest person in the world so keeping it nice after may be a problem!

now stop....bandeau time

Bandeau Time
Currently l.o.v.e-ing sheer shirts with a bandeau underneath! I've had a few of these shirts in my wardrobe for a while but always got stuck when it came to actually wearing them. For me personally I don't really like the look of just having a bra underneath and I'm not a fan of the strappy top underneath either so it wasn't till I saw a girl the other day wearing a bandeau top underneath that it all just fell into place! After a quick search it seems beloved Topshop and Republic are top of the league with this one atm but I did order a black floral one for £4 from ASDA yesterday- more on that when it arrives. I quite like just the plainer block colour ones for underneath but some of the bralet styles would be great for those who like to flash the flesh and leave the shirt half un-buttoned.

free money? mmhmm

Being your standard cash strapped teen, I'm always on the look out for getting things for free so when I learnt that some companies pay you to take surveys from other companies or organisations I thought it'd be too good to be true! I first saw an advert for The Learner Panel on facebook and after a bit of investigating I joined up. You fill out a profile at the beginning so that they only send you relevant surveys and around once a month or so   I'd get an email through and after completing it you'd be sent your reward in bonus bond vouchers, usually £1 worth, which can be spent at pretty much any high street shop.
After I'd done this and received them a few times I thought I'd have a quick scan for any similar and that's when I signed up to Valued Opinions. Again you fill in a profile but you get a lot more questionnaires, probably one or two a week and your reward varies between surveys- some are 50p, some £3, you always get told at the beginning and how long approximately it would take you to complete. They don't send vouchers as you do them, but every time you earn £10 worth then you get sent a £10 voucher of your choice- Boots, Topshop, Marks and Spencer, a donation to charity, there's loads. As you can see I'm nearly on my second £10 voucher, I got a Boots one last time so I might go for Topshop this time!
Just to show how long it's taken me to earn what I have- basically not long!

For a short amount of time, anyone that signs up through me automatically gets entered into a weekly prize draw as well as then earning all your vouchers as you complete them. If you wanted to join, just pop your email address and full name in a comment, I'll get you entered into the draw and then send you an email to let you know it's all been done so you'll be all ready to sign up, or if you have any questions about it all just let me know! This post isn't sponsored by them or anything, I just wanted to spread the word!

Spring

Spring
Ok so I've been a bit rubbish recently, giving you all these empty promises of outfit posts! Or just er any posts, it's been a while I know. Things have been a bit manic recently, exam stress has set in and just general life but I'm going to try and get a minimum of a post a week done with an outfit picture of what I wore to work since that's usually my nicest outfit of the week. I'm going to try really hard to get one done tomorrow! Anyway these are just a few bits and bobs I'm lusting over, some more feasible than others. I got my beloved mint jeans on uniform in Topshop the other day and I'm loveeee, they'll be included in tomorrows post!
